I think under the type of circumstances of street opera and its music, Lau Wai Ming has done incredibly in the second tune 紫钗记-杨关折柳-(tune: 杨洲二流). It's not easy and many professional actors don't even do that in theaters.
I agree with you. She did well. A bit unfortunate was that some artistes seemed not prepared for this show, forgetting their dialogues and lines at times.
I am so sorry sir! It sounds like Dickson Tong's (唐迪生)Purple Hairpin. The words are exactly the same. That's the problem with cantonese opera, they always borrow from each other, the words and tunes. They even hijack melodies from western movies. They also change the titles and prevert history.
Thanks for pointing out. If you have the script you can check The Purple Hairpin. Too bad, I threw away Dickson's books and scripts years ago when I moved house and later country. But I am very sure about those lines because I practised them in chinese calligraphy.

You are right - the clip by Lau Wai Meng is The Purple Hairpin, 紫钗记. This show was performed at night.
The clip by the maid, 梁慧珠, is another opera, 情淚洒征袍. This opera was performed in the afternoon.
